Be sure to mention:

 

• Your name, zip code (for shipping calculations), and contact info

• How soon you would like your portrait started (if immediately, say so). Allow 31 days plus 15 days per additional face.

• An overall description of your portrait

• The title(s) of any existing pieces on the site similar to your idea and which aspects you like

• The total size of your portrait (please, no larger than 11" x 14" for a single-face portrait)

• Pose, age, and clothing of any human subjects

• The time period (if applicable)

 

Also important:

 

• Will you require additional photo reference besides those you provide? That is, do you have photo references (for which you own the rights) for everything present in the drawing? (If you are commissioning a stylized portrait which doesn't need a photo reference, simply describe the person)

 

 

 

 

 

       Don't worry about every detail, this is only a proposition; if your portrait commission is accepted, you will work with 

        the artist to finalize your commission.
